Activity Sling

Referred to as the Back Belt Sling on the website, this sling can hold an individual who weighs up to 550 lbs. This type of sling requires a standing lift frame, since it’s designed to get a user up on their feet in a supported position. Activity slings such as these are commonly used in rehabilitative settings in order to reteach a patient how to walk. It can also be used for gait training, balance, toileting, and dressing just to name a few. Users should have a reasonable amount of weight-bearing capability through their legs as well as some trunk control in order to maintain and upright posture.
