Description

The STS200 sit-to-stand lift offers just the right support for lifts and transfers to and from a seated position. It is designed to support patients who are to some extent capable in actively participating in standing.
With the STS200 the patients are able to practice standing and leg strength since they will use their own strength to pull themselves up to a standing position. The sit-to-stand lift can also be used to reposition into a wheelchair. Human Care also offers a range of sit-to-stand support slings for patients who need extra support during the lift.

STS200 is a sit to stand solution for individuals who need assistance in getting up from a resting position, like from bed, floor, wheelchair, toilet seat etc. Users of this model are expected to have body strength required to pull themselves up to a standing position. Therefore, it is not suited for those with complete immobility. It has a lightweight frame (29 kg) and a small design which makes it easy to manoeuvre even in small spaces, for instance, narrow corridors and also in places where an overhead lift is not possible. An outstanding feature of this mobile lift is that it can also be used to reposition into a wheelchair. If you need extra support during the lift, please contact manufacturers to choose from a wide range of compatible slings.

STS 200

I use this sit-to-stand lift with my day to day work and I think it is a great option for caregivers and the patients. I use this lift with patients who are able to participate in standing and promote improved weight bearing through their legs in a safe way. When used with a sling, the Sts200 offers a stable base giving support to the individual and making them feel secure. For caregivers, this lift can be a great assist and decrease any strain on the low back getting a patient out of a chair. This lift can be used to help increase stability and strength with standing or can be utilized for improved ease with transfers. Either way this is a great device that can be helpful in the household.
