The Pride Power Assist is designed to aid caregivers in pushing a manual wheelchair. The PowerAssist attaches directly on to manual wheelchairs easily. It features an easy-to-use squeeze trigger mechanism along with a speed dial, enabling users to customise speed settings.

Power Assist Wheelchair is well suited for those individuals with mobility needs who love to go outside and do not let their mobility impairment stop them from exploring the community. As you can guess from the name, it is power operated and is compatible for most wheelchairs of varying width (16 inches to 20 inches). It provides relief to caregivers who propel manual wheelchairs. The range per charge of power assist is up to 10 km per hour (6.2 miles per hour). Just under the handle, it is equipped with squeeze trigger mechanism and a speed dial, which enables users to customise speed settings. The carers can utilise the power assist feature particularly while going up the hill, inclines and loose gravel. With its 120 kg (264 lbs.) weight capacity it has maximum speed of up to 5 km/h (3.1 mph). I would recommend power assist to users who want to make things easy for carer and prefer to have a smooth travel over varied terrain.
