Power assist hd

The design of Power Assist HD is very much similar to that of Pride Power Assist Heavy Duty. The only difference is that it weighs about 5 kg heavier than Power assist Heavy Duty Wheelchair. It helps carers/attendants in propelling a manual wheelchair especially over difficult terrain. This power assist can be attached to wheelchairs of varying widths. It functions well because of incorporation of easy-to-use controller along with a speed dial, battery indicator and a hand-controlled lever. Sealed Lead acid batteries are recommended for optimum performance, and it can travel up to 16 km (10 miles) between charges. Quick assembly feature is attractive too, but carers/attendants are advised to refer to instruction’s manual for safe and easy assembly directions. It can very conveniently take an individual of up to 182 kg (400 lbs.) for an outdoor ride at the top speed of up to 6.4 km/h (4 mph).

Assist HD

Individuals who would like to utilize a wheelchair to get around, but need motorized assistance will find the Pride Power Assist HD is a wonderful option. This piece of equipment will help caregivers and other loved ones as they push individuals in a manual wheelchair and can easily be added to any existing wheelchair between 16 and 25 inches wide. The Pride Power Assist HD will last over 15 kilometres between charges, making it a convenient choice for any user who is overweight or someone who does not demonstrate the safety awareness, cognitive function, or motor control to functionally assist in maneuvering their wheelchair. This piece of equipment hangs from the back support of the wheelchair and can be removed or adjusted as needed by individuals who help manage the wheelchair.
