Transit Attendant Propelled

As a small, portable transport chair, the Shopper 12 Wheelchair is great for those who cannot walk long distances in public and need the assistance of others. Small pneumatic wheels can navigate tight corners and the seating options of this wheelchair are limited, making it only appropriate for short, occasional trips. The hand brake and padded handles are meant to allow caregivers the simple ability to manage their loved one’s movement in a way that is safe and controlled. Footrests with plates that fold up are affixed to the chair, since they are ideal for smaller individuals whose feet may be otherwise suspended. This feature also allows them to move out of the way to allow individuals to safely get in and out of the chair without tearing their skin or getting injured. However, because they cannot be removed, this chair is best suited for someone who needs mobility assistance, does not have sufficient upper extremity strength for a self-propelling wheelchair, and can still exercise good safety awareness to use the wheelchair.
