This mattress comes in a variety of sizes to accommodate a variety of bed frames and needs. The elastic material is strong enough to assist with repositioning, getting on and off, and moving up and down on the bed, while maintaining its standard form and not disturbing partners who may also be sleeping in the bed. This not only keeps the pressure off the major parts of the body that are susceptible to injury, but it allows the user to remain engaged and interact with their environment by sitting up, laying down, turning over, and whatever they need to be active. Some elastic mattresses are more compliant to allow for fabric resiliency, but this model has extra firmness to allow for the comfort of individuals who prefer more solid support. This is much more comfortable than a standard hospital mattress while still meeting all your medical needs.
