Omega PA1 Paediatric LX brings a new level of active style to paediatric mobility. Boasting its compact foldable design, this feature rich wheelchair ensures comfortable journey for children. Despite being light weight (weighs only 7 kg), it has working load capacity of 125 kg. Omega PA1 can be folded very easily which makes storage and transportation of wheelchair an easy matter. I really like self-propelling feature of the wheelchair which will definitely boost children’s confidence and promote independent living. However, it can very easily be propelled by a parent, guardian, or caregiver by using the strong padded handles. The seating consisting of foldable, black, and blue upholstery with removable arm rests, flip-away leg rests, and adjustable footrests makes journey comfortable and less tiring for children or smaller users. The rear anti tip wheels add to the overall safety of the wheelchair.

This aptly-sized wheelchair offers mobility assistance while encouraging children to self-propel and develop their upper extremity. For children who are not always able to participate in propelling their chair, there are padded handles for caregivers to help push. Adjustable footrests offer support for children who do not have the strength to hold their lower extremities out of the way while moving. Footrests are also removable for children who are able to use their legs to help push the chair along. Curved straps and removable plates allow for further calf support for children whose legs may otherwise fall off the footrests. Large wheels are well-equipped for any type of terrain, smooth or uneven, along with small solid tires that facilitate precise turning and steering in small spaces. Removable armrests encourage children to assist in transferring in and out of the chair, either with assistance or other equipment like a slide board. The Omega Pa1 Paediatric Wheelchair is ideal for children weighing up to 125 kg.
