The Go-Go Elite Traveller Plus is a scooter made for travel, and designed for accessibility. The scooter is designed for allowing larger individuals to use, as well as for those with weaker and limited dexterity.

Thanks to the inclusion of a seat post suspension, any user will be able to experience a much smoother ride compared to standard scooters. Thanks to this suspension, there’s an increased sense of stability and modular comfort.

The scooter is easy to drive, with a tiller made for driver comfort, including wrap around handles that are easy to grip and keep a hold of.

The Go-Go Elite Traveller Plus can also be dismantled easily, thanks to a light frame and disassembly motion. It’s easy to take along with you, no matter where you’re going.

*Some assembly may be required, please refer to the instruction manual.

the pride go-go is designed to meet the needs of heavier individuals who also have some mobility skills still intact (transferring in and out of the chair and some standing/walking capability). there is no seat belt or knee/thigh blockers, so the user needs muscle strength to be able to hold up their legs in a safe seated position (just like for most mobility scooters on the market). the chair provides just enough support for the back and arms, but is not designed to hold up a user with severely limited sitting balance. there is no seat belt, so as long as the user doesn’t have a propensity to slide forward in the chair, then this scooter will work just fine. the user needs up to at least half of their shoulder range to reach the handle bars comfortably. the pride go-go is designed to be travel-friendly, so it comes apart in easy-to-assemble pieces to stow away in a vehicle. however, 70 kg is a lot for someone to haul so the user may require some assistance lifting and taking apart/putting back together the scooter. the scooter is also meant for community use, but this does not mean rough terrain use since the scooter only has a 1.5 inch clearance from the ground. in summary, for the offered price and the features, this is a great scooter for heavier individuals who still have some mobility and decent overall body strength who just needs that extra boost while at the store or other smooth-surfaced community areas.

with just five major parts to assemble, individuals can feel confident in the simplicity and durability of the pride go-go elite as they navigate their environment. with semi-open lumbar support that falls around the mid-back, the pride go-go elite is ideal for individuals who are of short or average height, or taller individuals who do not have major back injuries that result in pain and weakness. the chair swivels to accommodate individuals who need to directly transfer to the scooter from their bed, chair, or other mobility device. armrests allow individuals with trunk and abdominal weakness the support they need to maintain upright posture and reposition as needed. with four all-purpose wheels, the pride go-go elite can easily shift from flat to uneven surfaces, including concrete, flooring, and gravel. its tall base provides individuals of all heights with the ability to easily see the monitor, which allows them to control the speed of the scooter. a convenient basket allows individuals to easily access their belongings while remaining safely seated. individuals who need to adjust the base or seat can easily do so with levers posited underneath the seat and at the bottom of the base, with ergonomic handles that are ideal for use by someone with arthritis or poor grip strength. while the width of the footrest area is just large enough to accommodate the user’s feet and leg space, this base does not allow individuals to stand up to reach for and grab items around them or reposition. additionally, this type of motion is not recommended for any scooter due to the safety risk that it poses. the pride go-go elite is a light and reliable option for individuals who want to get from point a to point b safely.
